• Reviews around click (2.45 of 5)

    Logitech M705 Wireless Marathon Mouse

    • Kinda wish I'd gotten that one, but it doesn't have the hyper fast scroll, which is nice but not necessary; I'd trade reliable middle click for that.
    • Single clicks end up double clicking... all down to a bit of copper in the mouse that flattens out, and I already broke one completely trying to fix it.
    • Maybe I'm nuts, but the clicking seems way louder than the mouse I was using before
    • After almost 4 years, the mouse started having problems with the switch under the left-click.
    • As for what broke, it was the right click.
    • This mouse has a very inconsistent middle click, and about 50% of the time when i'm trying to pan in my screen view (by clicking and holding the middle mouse button while moving the mouse), it does something else because you have to click pretty hard to actually engage the middle click
    • It worked fine for the firs 6-7 weeks, and then the mouse started to freeze every 5-10 seconds, and double clicking all over the screen
    • The left click button squeaks like crazy now and is almost unusable to left click stuff
    • Left clicks won't work on some things, right clicks won't bring up dialogue boxes, etc
    • First it worked fine, then after a few months the problem occurred - intermittent right click when holding it
    • They suffer from the infamous "double - click" problem that plagues all Logitech mice in the last two years
    • Great size, Great Click Feeling, Versatile Functionality, Great Hands-Feel
    • My first one started stuttering (giving double clicks when only one was intended), but only after many months.
    • The mouse has problem with left click in 7 months, accuracy on left click was very poor
    • This one had the dreaded double click issue.
    • I really like these mice but they never seem to last longer than a year before the dreaded double click issues start
    • Then I realized it was not me, as I start missing clicks on regular buttons like if you put something into the amazon search bar, hit enter and then went to click on "prime" or the reviews bar, it would randomly stop working "twitch" on me.
    • Middle click doesn't work.
    • The third M705 that has developed the dreaded double-click problem
    • Mouse broke after ~1 month of use -- no longer clicks
    • This is the only mouse I found that has a super comfortable mouse click feel
    • Everything else about the mouse is pretty decent, but middle clicking is very unreliable
    • It was good until the right click became hard to use
    • Dropped it, which damaged the right click for a couple games.
    • The back button on for the thumb doesn't have a positive click
    • The two main mouse buttons seem alright, but they take very little force to click (less than the weight of a resting finger), so accidental clicks are an issue
    • The reason I am giving this mouse 4 stars instead of 5 is because over time it develops an infuriating and very frustrating double click defect, i.e. you click
    • The left button start to failed/miss click since Augest 1 2018.It either ignore my click, double click, or release during click hold
    • The switching between click scroll wheel and smooth scrolling works very well and is great for scrolling all the way to the bottom.
    • but like other Logitech mice, it is very easy to accidently hit the right click switch
    • I was playing Resident Evil Revelations with this mouse and that game requires you to hold down the right click button to switch to aiming mode and press the left click button to fire
    • Dropped it, which damaged the right click for a couple games.
    • It was good until the right click became hard to use
    • Until it suddenly developed the too common left button double-click problem experienced by many reviewers here
    • Then I realized it was not me, as I start missing clicks on regular buttons like if you put something into the amazon search bar, hit enter and then went to click on "prime" or the reviews bar, it would randomly stop working "twitch" on me.
    • You can expect a 1-2 year life span of this mouse, depending how heavily you use it, before the left/right click buttons start to get faulty.
    • The clicking of the mouse isn't silent, but I like the feel of it (smooth and sensitive, but not to the point of accidental).
    • The buttons produce a satisfying click when used, and it tracks well, though I am using a cloth-covered neoprene rubber mousepad,
    • I've tried holding it claw style, or full hand style, but still get way too many unwanted clicks
    • All buttons feel great, clicks are not loud or stiff, scroll wheel is either smooth or "notched" by pressing the small button just behind the scroll wheel.
    • First it worked fine, then after a few months the problem occurred - intermittent right click when holding it
    • The left click button squeaks like crazy now and is almost unusable to left click stuff
    • Left & right mouse clicks are cheap (you use these a lot, you know?).
    • It feels nice in the hand, can scroll very nicely, and I like having the ability to do horizontal scrolling, though missing the middle click might not be worth the horizontal scroll
    • The right click is so sensitive, I hit it by mistake constantly
    • But that mouse started having the well documented problems like ghost clicking (double clicks instead of single) and inability to properly drag and drop
    • The whole thing rattles and the click is very loud and tinny.
    • The click from the left button is a lot louder than my last Logitech mouse of similar size.
    • One thing to note is the click is somewhat loud, so maybe not a great pick if you work in very quiet environments where others might be bothered.
    • The right mouse clicker is especially sensitive and soft and will cause unwanted clicks just from normal navigation or moving the mouse around
    • Like many others, after less than a year my M705 sends a double click when single click was pressed and there are also tracking issues
    • My only complaint is that its "clicking" is so LOUD
    • I came back to this same mouse because the click is fairly 'soft' - in other words it's easy to press down the left and right buttons so it doesn't irritate my wrist as some other models do
    • I came back to this same mouse because the click is fairly 'soft' - in other words it's easy to press down the left and right buttons so it doesn't irritate my wrist as some other models do
    • Every click is VERY audible
    • Just sacrifice that feature for 100% reliable middle clicking
    • Eventually the left click button gets weak and begins to give multiple rapid clicks
    • It has great responce, good click feel to the buttons and the scroll wheel works in a natural manner
    • It seems inevitable that the clicker stops working - it either does not hold, or it automatically double clicks
    • Random clicks, a faulty scroll wheel, and unwanted double clicks plagued the unit
    • It moves nicely and the clicks are sturdy, if that means anything
    • It feels pretty nice to use, and the left click, right click, and scroll wheel all feel nice
    • After the first loud, high pitched click, my excitement faded and I began looking for a new mouse to replace my new mouse.
    • The left and right click buttons are extremely close to each other and angle slightly so that if you are pressing the right click button it will slide to the left and under the left click button preventing both buttons from being pressed
    • It's a physical design defect and if you prefer your scroll wheel in hyper mode (versus the incessant clicking of the alternative mode), you're out of luck
    • This is perfect, and I love not hearing the clicking of scrolling up and down
    • I had this mouse for approximately 2 years and it now has the infamous double-click problem
    • Mouse wheel also has terrible feel, no resistance, no 'click', completely 'free'.
    • Scrolling is quiet but clicking is fairly loud
    • It's not quite as big as the Microsoft 5000 mouse which I LOVED b/c of how well it fit my hand.
    • hope the battery life lasts as long as it says b/c my much more expensive logitech mouse burns through batteries like crazy
