These speakers are not very loud and the loudest volume setting is distorting the music; or rather adding nasty distortion sounds.

They sounded nice the first few days and then suddenly one side was blown (that bbbvvvvtttt sound when turned above soft volume)

Even the more expensive speakers are not designed as well (large volume knob is my favorite!)

I hooked the speakers to my tv and found them to be good looking, well constructed and produce sound of good quality and with sufficient volume.

The volume is perfect, not too high to disturb the whole apartment but enough for a room.

I love that it has separate headphone jack so he can plug in to hear it separately as well as easy volume control on the front.

The tone control doesn't do much and the volume won't rattle the windows but theyr'e fine for everyday use.

This sounds clear and loud at like 25% volume on the speakers and about 30% on Windows.

As for music the volume gets extremely loud and is entirely usable, you may just miss out on some portions of the audio
