Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel

    • The only complaint I had was the lack of a proper shifter as well as the cheap plastic pedals without the clutch
    • I did not like the lack of counter spin as you approached dead center as this left you trying to over correct, which in turn can cost you a spin out
    • While the steering is tighter than a real cars, the added restriction in movement (read lack of the feel for power steering most cars have) is usefull in feeling the weight of the car as you throw it around
    • The lack of feel really seems to detract from the realism aspect of owning a wheel
    • The red wheel and "enter" button on the bottom right can be used for navigation and confirmation as well as in-game adjustments for games that support it (like Gran Turismo 5).I'm not sure what the split-circle +
    • You can still see that the essence of the smaller controller is there, however, the components that get unneccessarily distracting get placed together in the driving wheel, the brakes and accelerator, as well as in the perfect response you get in the feel of the road ( the virtual road) beneath you
    • Then use the up and down toggle on the left to set your preferences this will help you when you think that the car isn't handling as good as when you were using your regular controller......enjoy.
    • Although the force feedback of the Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel is not as good as that of the ultimate Thrustmaster T500RS which is the other official steering wheel for Gran Turismo 5, it costs way less to purchase as well as to mount
    • You just can't rotate the wheel as fast as you can control the analog buttons
