Right ear cuts out due to bad connection at volume control, timed fperfectly after 30 days.

They lost connection during meetings even though plugged in with USB

The only times I've heard a noise like that before was on an analog amplifier with a bad ground in a speaker or microphone cable or a bad connection with an analog telephone line.
