Reviews around price (4.61 of 5)

  • Back to using the old one (with the crappy micro-switches).Logitech USED to build quality trackballs at a reasonable price!
  • For those of us that like "Thumb Ball" mice, this is a great one at a reasonable price
  • Plus the prices were a little steep
  • Even a few months later I still tense weirdly trying to use the mouse like a regular one
  • This was in the right price point and I am glad I tried it

Reviews around expect (4.56 of 5)

  • The scroll wheel works as expected, and you can tilt the wheel left or right to go back and forward
  • The mouse is working as expected, feel comfortable to work with it
  • I have them configured as page up/page down and for the most part, they work as expected (except in MS Excel, where for some weird reason they change tab and not moved the sheet).Battery life is exceptional and the compact size of the trackball keeps low desktop footprint, high portability and is actually quite comfortable.
  • The functionality is as expected, no problems.

Reviews around work (4.28 of 5)

  • I needed a wireless trackball mouse with good distance and an off/on switch this one works great.
  • Not sure its much better than a regular mouse, and makes graphic work difficult
  • It has worked great for me since the beginning and still works exactly the same
  • Even cheap $5 mice work for years.
  • super sketchy and only works occasionally

Reviews around product (4.27 of 5)

  • Do not buy thisIt's really a bad product, very slow and hard to control, it's really
  • The mouse from Logitech is in my experience a good product, but it had failed on me about 18 months ago, and the second one I purchased was failing again with the same symptoms.
  • This product, if logitech could just improve the durability and longevity, would be a fantastic mouse
  • This is a great product, IF you use a thumb ball mouse.
  • but I shouldn't have to bother with fixing the product only after 6 months

Reviews around item (4.01 of 5)

  • i actually have to buy a new mouse after 3 months this is a crappy item
  • Not pleased, but item seems to work for now so too much trouble to send it back and try to get another in NEW condition when I currently have only a wired standard mouse to use because my last M570 left click button became unresponsive.
  • Even a few months later I still tense weirdly trying to use the mouse like a regular one
  • Got the item and it only works for about 43 seconds and you will have to reset it and no changing the batteries didn’t help
  • This item literally worked 3 months and then the USB dongle stopped working. without warning

Reviews around trackballs (3.80 of 5)

  • Love these trackballs, but I use them all day long and have to buy a new one every two years or so.
  • After using the ball for a month or so, it becomes apparent it's made of paper mache or some inferior material as it hangs on the points it's supposed to roll around on
  • But after a few years either plan on replacing it or soldering in new switches as they tend to fail and you
  • I miss the giant desktop trackballs of the past, but this one is doing ok.
  • There's a reason why this is one of the most purchased and popular trackballs on Amazon.

Reviews around ball (3.62 of 5)

  • You can pop the ball out to clean the sensor easily but after a while they do break.
  • Love it, Logitech always make a very good mouse and I love the Trackball because its so much less hassle to just move the ball than the entire mouse
  • You can pop the ball out to clean the sensor easily but after a while they do break.
  • About once a month I have to pop the ball out and clean it
  • Occasionally i have to remove the ball and clean it and the rollers, but that is to be expected.

Reviews around quality (3.56 of 5)

  • Good quality piece overall, but the Back and Forward page buttons do not work!!!
  • So difficult for the first use and soft surfaces, but good quality!
  • I have to take away a star because the build quality now is crap
  • This trackball mouse is very easy to use and really good quality
  • One other thing I want to point out is that the quality of Logitech trackballs wasn't always so bad

Reviews around thing (3.01 of 5)

  • Weird thing is, when I turn the actual mouse upside down in the air and scroll with the ball, it works 100% of the time
  • My old one started doing odd things like it's sensors weren't working right
  • My old one started doing odd things like it's sensors weren't working right
  • This new one is lighter (not a good thing when you need it to not move when in use), and feels like much cheaper materials.
  • Love this thing... super easy to use...better than a mouse !

Reviews around signal (2.40 of 5)

  • New batteries, no signal interference, and other Logitech devices work fine on same USB port and same location
  • My only real gripe is that the wireless signal isn't strong enough to work flawlessly when the receiver is plugged into the opposite side of the computer.
  • only complaint is i wish it had a stronger signal to use usb in the back of my case which is in a slot under the desk
  • The wireless signal must have been getting interference since the cursor motion would be intermittent.
  • Apparently the signal was interrupted by the keyboard, and needs a direct line of sight -- interesting flaw.

Reviews around hand pain (2.28 of 5)

  • I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from arm and hand pain and fatigue.
  • Even with fresh batteries it would be jumpy and glitch as if the laser mechanism could not see the ball was moving

Reviews around year (2.23 of 5)

  • This is the only tech product I've found that's 5 years old and still the best
  • The most recent failure didn't last a full year, and that was a replacement for another trackball of this kind that failed after two years
  • First one I bought lasted about a year before it started jittering and just being glitchy
  • when you do you'll be wondering what you were doing with a traditional mouse all these years!
  • My ancient, corded, Logitech Trackman with the red ball, same basic design as this one, finally failed - aftar 15+ years!

Reviews around space (2.22 of 5)

  • it is made a little lighter than I would like being something that sits still looked like it could have used I a few grams of weigh in bottom just to help with staying put but the rubber feet does what they are suppose It is great to have a trackball back though the space where my mouse normally goes is limited on
  • When space is limited and you don't have a square foot to move a mouse around this is the best option plus it's extremely comfortable for your hand.
  • Trackballs are particularly convenient for people using laptops who aren't comfortable with touchpads, especially in cramped spaces where there is not enough flat space next to the computer to move a mouse around freely
  • Limited moving space, or how I use it in bed to watch Youtube and Netflix, where I can't use a normal mouse.
  • I also do a lot of video editing and not needing to waste space on my desk to accommodate scrubbing forward and backward on video timelines with a normal mouse...definitely glad to be using a trackball vs. a mouse

Reviews around wrist fatigue (2.18 of 5)

  • I have much less wrist fatigue as I use it all day, every workday.
  • so i decided to try something new, and i got a mechanical keyboard which i liked a
  • Even a few months later I still tense weirdly trying to use the mouse like a regular one
  • I've never had an issue with wrist fatigue with a traditional mouse before, but I've noticed that I've started to develop some strain in my thumb from using this mouse 8 hours a day, five days a week after two months.
  • I really do not understand why people use a mouse that requires the mouse to be moved around the desk top, requiring it to be continually lifted off the table and eventually causing wrist fatigue/pain

Reviews around time (2.12 of 5)

  • He has rather large hands and has a hard time finding a mouse that is comfortable in his and this one is perfect
  • Doing more research on this producti discovered this is a very common problem and sounds like my trackballs actually lasted a pretty long time compared to others that lasted less than six months.
  • I also had some issues with the right pointer finger not always working the first time.
  • but my arthritic thumb is having a hard time getting used to it!A
  • (yes im guilty and learned from experience on previous models), you'll ruin it in short order, if you game although this is a great mouse for that you'll tend to be rough on buttons as well and the switches may get buggy on you if your rough with them, other than that if you have a light touch and use it regular-like it will last a loooong time ...... and #2 you do need to pull the ball and wipe out the socket every so often, maybe once a month .. battery life is good, no problems there ..

Reviews around plastic (2.12 of 5)

  • Even a few months later I still tense weirdly trying to use the mouse like a regular one
  • so i decided to try something new, and i got a mechanical keyboard which i liked a
  • The form factor is fine, but this trackball has a cheap plastic feel to it and began making an an annoying squeak about 10 days into using it
  • but, these days its all about cheap plastic and rattles and creaks and garbage drivers for one device breaking the other "logi" garbage devices
  • However, I am unhappy with the cheap plastic the mouse is made out of

Reviews around angle (1.95 of 5)

  • so i decided to try something new, and i got a mechanical keyboard which i liked a
  • The angle was all wrong and it was causing a sharp pain in my wrist and elbow, so I decided to order this style of mouse
  • Extremely difficult to get used to, my wrist hurt after using it due to no support , awkward angle, the track ball no matter the settings you change is extremely sensitive.
  • After using the ball for a month or so, it becomes apparent it's made of paper mache or some inferior material as it hangs on the points it's supposed to roll around on
  • I tried a vertical mouse and it sits at an odd angle with my hand and makes it ache after a

Reviews around shoulder pain (1.88 of 5)

  • I will buy another one because this helped with my shoulder pain, but I hope this one lasts longer
  • so i decided to try something new, and i got a mechanical keyboard which i liked a
  • My RSI has disappeared and with the rest of my ergo set up, I no longer have referred shoulder pain.
  • It reduces shoulder pain by only having to move your thumb on the trackball not your whole arm
  • I have had to avoid extended use of a mouse for more than 20 years because it stresses my wrist and ultimately causes shoulder pain

Reviews around environment (1.61 of 5)

  • Over the time I've had it, it has held up well despite traveling in my briefcase frequently and being used in dirty environments
  • I work in a very dusty environment and these trackballs take quite a bit of abuse.
  • My previous Logitech mouse finally had to be retired because I just couldn't clean it satisfactorily enough anymore, but by that time it was three years old and was in a "dirty" environment
  • Given the harsh environment I subjected it to I am extremely impressed.
  • (I use them at work in dirty environments so after a while, the buttons gum

Reviews around tunnel syndrome (1.00 of 5)

  • I highly recommend this for anybody who has carpal tunnel syndrome or anybody that uses a computer a lot.
  • I have carpal tunnel syndrome and the regular mouse was not helping at all
  • Also, a track ball mouse helps prevent and treat carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • I had hoped this mouse would help alleviate pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, but alas, it did not
  • I work in IT as a programmer and have issues with carpal tunnel syndrome due to repetitive motion and thought this would be a great help for that.
