Which is very disappointing because it seems like it is very good quality and is big enough to hold the phone in the case

I can't imagine anyone that tried placing their phone with no case inside of this armband - it would be a joke!Just to give you an idea of all this extra space around the phone: if you plug in your headphones at the bottom of the phone through the armband, the phone gets pulled down outside of the little clear window, meaning that now a portion of your screen is below the clear window where you can no longer access it
They are relatively accurate in that they show that the S7 Edge fits right inside of the clear window - but what didn't occur to me is that there would be a lot of space all the way around the product allowing the phone to easily shift inside of the armband

I spent nearly all of my breaktime between sets attempting to double up the strap so it wouldn't fall off, adjust the volume, or turn off the phone screen.
Also love the headphone strap.

My only issue is it traps dust between the clear film and the screen
The screen is still very responsive even under the clear plastic cover.

I can fit my gym key fob in the key pocket, and it fits my S7 with a case well.
It is a good case if you have upper arms under 12" in circumference, with the exception of like some people say, the plastic window does stick to the phone screen and makes it a pain to get your phone out of the band when you are done.
Be aware it likely won't work for a more bulky case
My Samsung Galaxy S7edge WITH a protective case still fits into this armband nicely and it fastens securely.
It is a little snug with my phone's protective case on, but works very well with a 'naked' phone.
