Got my NEW second one, it's broke in the same place as the old one, loose hinge screw; machine fittings necessary to keep precise action on the switches; it DOESN'T WORK.

Within a month or 2 of use, a screw came loose and fell out of the slot where the pedal goes in

Because of the odd shape of the top of the spring, there's no great place to put a piece of felt (unlike with the Yamaha).So, both this and the Yamaha will start to creak on you, but the Yamaha is a bit easier to fix (except the bottom screws are really soft and will strip easily)

these two screws became loose on mine and it stopped working (giving me a bad time thinking i was going to have to buy another) after screwing them tight again, it was good as new

Thankfully I saved the loose screw I found bouncing around inside it and was able to open it up and put the screw back in using thread-locker

Every 6 months or so a little screw inside comes loose

and I lost the screw when opening it up
