Couple of weeks of driving over some rough roads and the unit holds the phone in place quite nicely.
-
It is stable in the cup holder and stays put even after having been on some fairly rough roads
-
Firm joint keeps phone in place even on bumpy roads.
-
Lots of vibration wobble there on less than perfect roads
-
I also don't trust that on a bumpy road or what not, the feet are not big enough to give the phone added support from falling out.
-
The longer neck does have a very slight wobble when the road is rough.
-
I was surprised to see how stable it was even on bumpy roads
-
It's okay for the car, but I bought it for the big truck and it shakes loose on bumpy roads
-
The only thing is that probably because it is so tall of you are on a uneven road it does vibrate regardless of how much you tighten the tension.
-
So far no issues with the phone bouncing out or the holder coming loose going over bad roads.
-
It's an automatic, and P-R-N-D work fine, but flipping the shifter over to select-shift mode is a pain with the phone holder.
-
The twist out parts that are supposed to hold it in place, seem to collapse as they hit cup holder walls, not lock it into place.
