I needed a device to hold my HTC Incredible phone in place for GPS use

I was very happy to see that it has rubber edges to protect your phone and that the bottom rubber support has a gap large enough for any phone charger to fit through

My cup holders are a little too low to use it for navigation, but it keeps the phone readily available and off the car floor.

Due to lack of interior space and not being able to find a vent clip phone holder that would work, this is a great option

It works great, the only downside is that I wish the fins that hold the phone in place were a bit longer for stability but so far the phone has not fallen off.

When I need to, I can quickly and easily squeeze the release buttons with one hand and the arms extend so I can grab the phone (to answer a phone call if I don't have my bluetooth or when I'm getting out).The phone is very secure in this mount and the mount itself is very secure in the cup holder thanks to the adjustable base

As long as you're not terribly concerned about the small risk of marking the inside of your cup holder, I definitely recommend this as an awesome way to secure your phone and make traveling just a little bit easier

Not only does the foam protect the phone from the mount, but the give in the foam allows the mount to have a good purchase both with compression and against slippage

so it keeps the phone steady.

If you bump the phone (which I have done several times) the clips loosen and the phone can fall

From the beginning this wasn't his favorite product anyway because the phone vibrates and shakes when in the device, making it difficult to read the screen when driving

it's not that great, it get's in the way when you are shifting and it doesn't hold the phone that well.

The holder has an auto release when your press the 2 buttons on the side providing easy access to get the phone out very happy with it

The holder now sits tightly at the bottom of the cup holder, the phone is easily accessible

I can easily reach behind the mount to access the driver's side window toggle switch, but I have admittedly punched my phone on occasion from so many years of having no obstacle in front of the toggle switches

Mounting is simple and the bracket secure the phone and releases as it should

You get a great view of the phone, it's easy to use, puts the phone near the charging cable, neat and tidy

The small arms hold the phone very well and the bendy part of it is good and strong

And the clamp for the phone is spring loaded, and easily secures my phone

But the best part is the actual holder itself; I use the mCup with my iPhone 5, and thanks to the spring loaded side arms I can put my phone into the holder and clamp it into place with just one hand; likewise thanks to the two release buttons, I can also remove my phone quick and easy

I highly recommend to anyone looking to secure their phone in a similar fashion.

I'm very impressed by the quality of the product, it has nothing to do with those cheap plastic phone holders, this one is very well made, you can tell the quality just by looking at the package; the adjustable base is very nice, fits perfect on my SUV's cup holder

It also works with the new Iphone 4, so I'm ordering a second cup holder for my wife's car and her new phone as well.

The main issue is that the tabs on the bottom (which hold the phone in place) are very shallow, and the phone constantly slips out of the cradle if it's not tightly secured by the sides.

It is easy to put the phone in the holder and secure it by pressing the 2 side pads against the phone

and you can slide any smart phone or GPS device onto the squeezable clamp and lock it in to face you or the passenger depending on where you aim it

The reason I chose this type of mount over a windshield mount is because I don't want my phone taking a long fall if it were to fall out, and because I think it's awkward using the touchscreen/buttons by having to reach towards the windshield.

It is fine for a smart phone but not for any GPS.

The heavy-duty goose neck will not sag out of position, the head swivels to different horizontal/vertical click settings, and a quick push or pull will pop the phone in and out of the holder

We both have the iPhone 3GS and really wanted some way to keep the phone secure while we are driving

I already have my GPS mounted to the windshield so putting the phone in the cupholder is perfect

This product is quality built, fits firmly into the cupholder on my 2014 Impala, still allows room for a beverage in the other holder, and elevates and stabilizes the phone offering tremendous flexibility in adjustments.

I can get past the latter issue by repositioning the phone but having to look down and to the side to see the phone (like when using it to navigate via GPS) isn't safe.

A must have for anyone who has a smart phone (Android or iphone).

The clips holding the phone feel flimsy, like they could break at any time.

So I bought a vent phone holder instead, and this one works perfectly for my ipod

Great phone holder, but it's only effective if the vehicke's cup holder is located at he far end of your console.

This is the most stable, right-fitting phone holder that I have found in my years of looking

And by squeezing the arms that hold the phone at their base (not the top or center) you can get one more secure 'click' and your iPhone is locked in there tight

For a large smartphone, the little support tabs on the bottom are useless, as the phone falls out the top due to its large size

I have been using this in the cup holder of my golf cart and it works great phone stayed put and I have drove down some bumpy trails.

However, it is already set at the absolute widest setting, so if my phone was even 1mm wider (like if I had a Galaxy 2, Nexus, etc.

Great price, fits snugly in the cup holder, multi-adjustable so I can view my smart phone with ease.

Fits variety of phones, even in my bulky phone wallet...even when rotated horizontally.

However, the holder for phone is too small to hold larger phones like my galaxy Note 8 securely.

I like the fact that it's right at my hand's length (using it for an Android smart phone)--it's very easy to work with being in front of me

After looking for the "right" phone holder for my new truck, I took a chance on this one(actually two)

The phone is secured on the long sides with just a quick squishing of the ... claws? to secure the phone against the cushions

Disappointed, but I passed it along to a friend w/ a smart phone who was able to use it.
