For the price, they are good starter monitors

Mackie should not market this as a clear sounding monitor with good bass response because it is not

BUTAside from the bass not being as I expected, they're an excellent pair of monitors for anyone who just needs a pair of cheap and easy monitors

Excellent self powered monitors for home or a small studio.

Perfect studio monitors for price and size.

I enjoyed these monitors when they initially worked, but after a little over a year of little to moderate use they went silent

but I'd expect the more expensive studio monitors to be more robust.

I wouldn't recommend these monitors, unless you REALLY need a pair of monitors and don't plan on getting attached

But if you're looking for a pair of easy monitors without as much punch, I'd recommend these

Great monitors for a small room.

Other than that, these are great little monitor speakers.

This is annoying, especially if your best headphones are open-back- Half the time I use the speakers, theydo not work due to a really cheap L/R selector switch.
