Having a nice clean signal from the start is always a plus

I'm by no means cranking them up, but even at 3/4 volume with a reasonable signal (-3/-6 db), they distort (fuzzy) too much to be usable as true reference speakers.

The sound quality was still just as good as when I bought them and they never gave me any issues whatsoever

This is annoying, especially if your best headphones are open-back- Half the time I use the speakers, theydo not work due to a really cheap L/R selector switch.
