It's definitely a flaky switch

Sure, you can open the back up, but the switch is glued down to the mounting plate, and the PCB threatens to break if you try to pry it up.

the switch in the back of speakers no longer works after only owning these for 6 months and never using it(the switch) or moving it aside from once during set-up

But that cheap switch and the probability that it will only get worse is why I'm knocking off 2 stars

The switch that changes left and right side of the speakers is cheap and broke within 3 years

This is annoying, especially if your best headphones are open-back- Half the time I use the speakers, theydo not work due to a really cheap L/R selector switch.

After not using them for around a year, the switch failed.

just started happening, the little left/right selector switch on the back started cutting out one of the speakers for no reason
