The CR5BT is the best sounding monitors anywhere near this price range and are very close to Mackie's professional series (they hold their own) and lucky for me my wife surprised me with a set!

sounds really good to me, the cheapest studio monitors that had TRS cable inputs to use with my zoom audio interface, I have them mounted on the wall using these brackets

My budget was $200 and luckily you can get some really great studio monitors for this price, such as these Mackie CR4's

I received my Creative Monitor Speakers, quickly unboxed them, and added these speakers to my home studio setup

To give you an idea of how quiet these monitors are, they get less than half as loud as the M-Audio AV30 which is only 20Watts and also a 3" driver.

When I remove the speakers from the package, the passive monitor has a slight defective on the enclosure but doesn't effect the sound.

Solidly built, excellent sound, all the I/O options you need, they come complete with cables, sound insulating pads, and have a nice option to "flip" the powered side to left or right

This is annoying, especially if your best headphones are open-back- Half the time I use the speakers, theydo not work due to a really cheap L/R selector switch.
