I like how the clip is secured to the vent and the magnet is quite strong (holds my note 4 with no problem.

Never before saw a vent clip that holds firmly.

Additionally, when twisting the grip, it eventually just snapped the clip

The vent clip actually clamps tightly and can easily be removed by loosening the wing nut.

So all in all, the clip doesn't work very much and lastly, what makes it worse is almost all phones are too heavy for these types of phone holders and causes them to sag 100% of the time, because there is no 2nd or 3rd leg below to hold the phone from pulling the vent downward

The clips are no stronger than other magnetic mounts with fixed clips you can find on Amazon

The vent clip is much sturdier than I expected

but the ability to tighten the jaws on this vent clip make it a great item well worth the money.

I like how you are able to open up the vent clip connection and then tighten it.
