The temptation of tuning a new instrument is to crank those little tuning handles until your string matches the recommended sound immediately.

You can tune it with reasonably fine precision, and the uke keeps proper tune at all points on the neck (I've had problems with this on other budget ukuleles).It also stays in tune as well as any other stringed instrument I've played
