Excellent cd player

This is probably overall the best sounding cd player I have had in my system, and I have owned many through the years

I figured CD is a dying breed and thank you Marantz for still being able to build such a nice CD player for the price

I did my research about this CD player having previously owned a beloved 1990 Marantz CD player that finally gave up the ghost last year.

If you wanted a decent player without breaking your bank to make your CDs sound like vinyl with good soundstage, you may like this

In the past I have owned the award-winning Arcam 73 and the Rotel rcd 1072 as well as the rega apollo every one of them are excellent CD players in their own right

I hate this player

So if you're looking for a great CD player and your real serious about your music and you want to keep your CDs around for a little while this is definitely well worth the money if it's in your budget

I had purchased a decent CD player at the same time as the other equipment, but it gave up the ghost, and was replaced with an inferior changer from Sony as a stopgap

In my opinion it is the best CD player in it's price range.

So what do I have to show for ordering this wonderful new CD player with all the positive reviews

Not sure how other modern CD player compare.

Remarkable cd player for the price

I love this CD player and it sounds amazing

Otherwise the player is easy to use and seems solid, heavy, and well-built.

Though the price has risen this is still the best entry level CD player on the market in my educated opinion

CD-R's are no problem.
