Sound is very clear and focused, with virtually no incidental background noise popping up anywhere

Some background noise captured is easy to clean with the low pass filter of the TASCAM, and I liked the final results

It's not an isolation mic, so some may prefer the Heil PR40 or the Rode Podcast for isolating your voice against background noises.

It was promoted on this Amazon page as being a great "entry-level price" providing "recording studio-quality sound" for "podcasting projects" while cutting out "background noise

The sound quality was excellent (I especially liked the vocals) although I can’t say it exceeded my other mics
