Smart idea

Only in some immaginitive theory this is a good idea.

I really liked the idea as it allowed for easy replacement of existing lights and no hassle to rewire for a “security system”.

Amazing idea, works extremely well, the downside, it is NOT really compatible with Amazon Alexa, only the Light but the Camera does not work with Alexa, If you use Echo Show, you can not see the camera... if you want to use a fully Alexa compatible Camera, go for Arlo,

The little gizmo that they pack with the light to measure the distance from the wall to the end of the screws is a great idea in concept, but was way off for my installation

Bad idea

The idea was good, but so far, it's only an idea.

It's a great idea on paper, and I'd be happy to pay the monthly fee for videos, but it is completely unreliable

i thought replacing my patio lamp with a security camera lamp was a terrific idea.

It's a great idea & all the other features work well.

i like the idea of the camera being hidden within the light fixture. very hard to notice it.

And overall the camera is a nice idea, I don't regret getting it

Been using for a year or so Maximus Kuna has a great idea and forsite with a weak out look on cameras

It may also be a good idea to make the purchase with a credit card that offers a warranty service for items bought on the card

I have to believe its more likely that the inclusion of the IR tech would have raised the cost to the point that the consumer price point goes higher than $200, which they realized was not a good idea from a marketing

Very cool idea just not quite there yet

I LOVE the idea, but the implementation is poor

I researched camera systems for a long time before ordering the Kuna lights and dreaded the idea of wiring my home for the other bullet type complicated camera systems

Two years ago Kuna was "da bomb", a great idea, the first to put out a usable video home security system that did not have to be professionally installed

I bought Maximus Video Security Camera and Outdoor Light because I think is a great idea the fact that it looks like a lamp and not a security camera

Although I like the idea of this product, beware they do not stand behind their products and they charge you to have access to any video more than 2 hours old.

The idea behind this is great

well I just decided to use it since they are just design difference anyway.

Took some adjustment within the app to get it to work as we wanted

It doesn't really work well as an on the spot communication device, but it does work as a history of who/what came to your door, and a timer for your porch light

Install is not as clean as it could be.

I wanted the safety of knowing who was there, as well as, being able to see who came while I wasn't home

The light works as it should only 55-60% of the time.

Not as good as during the day but clear enough to get a good image of someone

I love that it alerts me on my phone with notifications, as well as in the house, when someone comes to the door
