I hate that this like most trailer harnesses, have a short ground wire that expect you to ground the frame of the trailer then pick up ground off the frame for each of the lights.

After carefully installing it and grind the frame to make sure it's well grounded, the led light is very very weak

No defects as I had, and include the full length of ground wire instead of the short lead to ground the frame.

The white wire is only long enough to ground to the tongue of the hitch to use the frame as the ground, so I spliced in a long one to run a ground all the way from the car to the white wire on each light and did not ground to the trailer frame.

I went to the local H/W store and bought wire so that I could not only ground the frame (just because) but run the ground wire directly to each of the lights.

After a quick and easy install these are very bright, and everything works as it should.

Also had to replace wires themselves to run the length of the trailer, as they broke with a very light tug.
