Medialink Wireless Router - Refurbished (150 Mbps) - Easy YouTube Setup Video (Part# MWNWAPR150N)

    • I found the Medialink at a great price (much lower than I expected) and was convinced by the other positive reviews
    • I saw all the great reviews and bought one, and it worked fine for general web usage - browsing, watching videos that have forward buffering
    • I saw all the great reviews and bought one, and it worked fine for general web usage - browsing, watching videos that have forward buffering
    • I purchased the Medialink due to its good reviews, and 150 Mbps promise.
    • Yes mediabridge, has amazing customer service, but unfortunately I think this is a big part of all the positive reviews, and does not make up for a terrible product
    • I ordered this router based on positive reviews
    • So basically, even though this Medialink router has a million positive reviews, don't believe the hype.
    • This past January I purchased this router after seeing all of the stellar reviews on Amazon.
    • If a product has so many good reviews, I buy it even without reading the reviews
    • This company threatened a reviewer with a lawsuit if a poor review was not removed
    • This router is feature-rich, offers a tempting price point, and after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to pull the trigger on it a couple of months ago
    • After my previous router died I purchased this one based on the many positive reviews, so I am surprised by its poor performance.
    • Because it has come to my attention that Mediabridge is in the business of bullying people who give poor (and not necessarily untrue) reviews
    • The number of good reviews on this router led to this decision, and so far all of these positive reviews have been justified from my perspective
    • This is going to seem like an odd review but here goes
    • Here's the router they are ripping off:microcenter.com/product/381840/W368R_Wireless-N_Broadband_RouterThis company will never see another dollar from me, especially because they are threatening to sue people who leave negative reviews.
    • Why bother writing this review in the first place after more than 2 years of using this router
    • We got this simply because of all the wonderful reviews
    • I decided to purchase this after reading all the wonderful reviews
    • If I learned on thing it is you cannot always trust "good" Amazon reviews, even from 1,000s of people, and I should stick with reputable names in wireless routers that actually have things you think all routers would have, such as EM shielding, good range, and no (or at least extremely minimal dropped signal).
    • I'm beginning to think the positive reviews here are fake, because this was the worst router I have ever
    • I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg, I found this one with decent reviews here and on Newegg and decided to give it a try
    • And the MediaLink router had over 4,000 reviews, predominantly very good, so I place a lot of credence in them
    • Competitors may also choose to leave baseless negative reviews, although they do not have the ability to gain hundreds of "verified purchase" tags simply by restocking and repurchasing the "verified purchase".
    • Drawn to the many favorable reviews, the appearance and the discount provided on this particular router, I ordered it.
    • I do not really know how this router got such great reviews
    • I went with this Medialink model based on the overwhelmingly good reviews and relatively low cost
    • It's not working for me, reviews says it's a great range extender, it didn't wok for e, it shows the maximum signal but its not conected at all to my xfinity
    • I purchased this router because of the good reviews, but ended up disappointed with the purchase and the time I've put in trying to fix the problems.
    • Went by the reviews but now beginning to doubt any review I read.
    • I never heard of this brand before, but the reviews were great
    • I bought this because it got good reviews for being user friendly
    • Like most of us, the reviews on Amazon can be a "make it, or break it"
    • I bought this router because my old one -- a Linksys G-wireless -- had begun to drop its signal about every 20 minutes, and this Medialink router had excellent reviews for its speed and capability with multiple wireless devices, so I decided to give it a try
    • I know we've been piling on Medialink lately, with lots of fake reviews, but I actually bought this thing and can confirm that it's awful
    • I ordered this router (along with a motorola modem) because I read many good reviews about it
    • The directions that came with the product are good---review this before the installation process.
    • I decided to purchase this router based on the positive reviews in spite of not having any prior experience with Medialink routers.
    • I see a lot of good reviews
    • But either way, I blindly bought this since it had 4.6 stars - but read the bad reviews.
    • I am not sure if we just got a dud, but our router was awful - after all the great reviews we though it was going to be great, but in fact it was slow, kept crashing, and after a couple of weeks of putting up with it we returned for a full refund.
    • I decided on this one because of the positive reviews and the price point, and the shipping was pretty quick (even using Super Saving shipping)
    • I demand a replacement from Mediabridge, if others have good reviews about this router I probably bought a defective product.
    • The reviews were good with this Wireless
    • I bought this router based on the good reviews and decent price
    • adapter and the 3000+ positive reviews of this product don't hurt either
    • Even though I never heard about Medialink, I trusted the reviews and I'm super glad I did
    • This one was easy to connect but was not as fast or as strong as reviews made it seem.
    • Like most of us, the reviews on Amazon can be a "make it, or break it"
    • I bought this router in January 2013 based on the strong Amazon reviews it got
    • so then i checked on amazon and found this router for only $39.99 the reviews were great and i really needed to connect more devices to the internet and my modem didnt let that happen so because of the price and great reviews i bought it
    • Bought this because of good reviews
    • As of 8/1/2014, this item has been temporarily retired because we now share a router with another couple who have graciously offered to use their own router (which sadly does not work as well).Original review:Have been using this router for about 6 months now, works great, no problems
    • I brought this router based upon all the good reviews I saw in amazon
    • please people i'm begging you not to buy this router.. anyone who gave this thing a positive review has to be fake...
    • But I was shocked to hear that medialink has taken to drafting cease and desist letters to customers who post negative reviews
    • I got this router based on all the positive reviews.
    • I ordered it because of the amazing reviews
    • By this logic, a negative "verified purchase" review is much more likely to be valid.
    • The new ISP didn't provide a wireless router, so I picked up this little gem based on the large number of good reviews
    • I found this by searching "router" and best average review on Amazon.
    • I'm beginning to think the positive reviews here are fake, because this was the worst router I have ever
    • If I learned on thing it is you cannot always trust "good" Amazon reviews, even from 1,000s of people, and I should stick with reputable names in wireless routers that actually have things you think all routers would have, such as EM shielding, good range, and no (or at least extremely minimal dropped signal).
    • This one I had never heard of but saw good reviews on Amazon.
    • and I upgraded the firmware and everything and just gave up -- found good reviews on this one and it has been ROCK SOLID from the start
    • There were a lot of positive reviews for this product and the price was right, but I had to reinstall my old wireless G router just to complete this review
    • i was kind of worried based on some of the negative reviews but i decided to try it out
    • This said 300mps in the description and the reviews were great
    • Should have definitely looked at the negative reviews
    • As of 8/1/2014, this item has been temporarily retired because we now share a router with another couple who have graciously offered to use their own router (which sadly does not work as well).Original review:Have been using this router for about 6 months now, works great, no problems
    • It doesn't help that I am risking getting sued by Medialink for posting a negative review on Amazon.
    • I bought it because it showed up on amazon search results for "wifi router" and seemed to have good reviews
    • Like many other reviews have stated, this thing started dropping connections about 5-months in
    • My original review stands- sorry.
    • I bought this router with the thought that all of the good reviews can't be wrong
    • I purchased this router reading so many good reviews here
    • seemed simple enough, had a hell of a lot of good reviews...for $50, why not?I didn't get the email from Mediabridge after ordering as many reviewers said they did (no contact from them whatsoever, actually), but really
    • I bought this router after reviewing several positive reviews but I have been getting pretty bad signal reception even in the same room
    • Any positive reviews must be coming from people in 450
    • I will not support a company who seeks to suppress reviews from its customers.
    • It has recently come to light that this company pays for their positive reviews of a product that they don't even personally develop
    • and I starting to wonder if these are paid fake reviews
    • I read all the awesome reviews on the Medialink router here on Amazon and decided to take a chance on it
    • The reviews were good and I thought I would give it a try
    • I purchased this product somewhat based off the great reviews that seem somewhat un-authentic
    • I'd seen great reviews for this unit online which guided my purchase to begin with, and I must say, they were spot on
    • I bought this router in May of 2012, and neglected to write an immediate review, because the reviews were so stellar, and my experience with Customer Service from Mediabridge has always been so fantastic
    • This router met the expectations I had after reading the other positive reviews
    • A simple Google search shows that the ONLY good reviews online are those right here and are most likely made up
    • I got this router for a quick use because it had decent reviews at the time
    • Read good reviews about Medialink products and customer service
    • The difference was so dramatic that I went back and looked up the reviews on Amazon and now see all the comments regarding "faked reviews"
    • Take a look at the negative reviews, and look at the issues people are having - they are all the same.
    • I will be the first to admit that I made a huge mistake buying this router after simply looking at the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this router, without reading many
    • As everyone else reading reviews of this product states, the overwhelming great reviews for it may scare people away
    • Considering a lot of recent bad reviews on this product, just be aware of what you are purchasing
    • I bought this after reading all the great reviews
    • I thought this was good, but then when I tried a different one that had great reviews at a cheap price when I noticed some differences (wifi drop rates, speed of connectivity, etc.) and found that this really was a terrible purchase
    • Ultimately, I would not buy this again and I do not think that it is a coincidence that there are so many negative reviews about dysfunctional routers
    • We decided to give this one a try since it got good reviews.
    • I wished I had read more of the negative reviews which say many of the same symptoms
    • I had never heard of Medialink routers, but I decided to try the Medialink Wireless-N because I saw so many positive reviews about it and not a single unsatisfied customer.
    • If you read the more well-written reviews of this product, it appears to have a problem with dropping the signal, and the free replacement they quickly offer is not an appropriate solution when it doesn't fix anything.
    • I wanted to like this router since the price was right and got decent reviews
    • After reading numerous overwhelmingly positive reviews, I bought this router last year
    • but the reviews on here were great
    • Apparently this company sues its customers now for negative reviews, so there is that
    • Well looking around, never heard of the name, thought it was priced pretty high, but the reviews were amazing, so I thought I'd give it a shot
    • I always trusted the user reviews on Amazon whenever I buy a product from here
    • I don't know what directions the other people were reading when they gave bad reviews but this was the easiest set up ever
    • Based on the glowing reviews and the low price point, I bought this router for my small city apartment
    • I bought this item to replace my Linksys 150N which died after 5 years in service, My decision was based on positive reviews and it's is on top the the wireless router selection
    • I bought one of these in 2011 based on the positive reviews
    • I was worried when I saw all the recent poor reviews
    • Regarding the negative reviews, well, most were part of the comment-kazi storm and had more to do with an internet 'social media' attack campaign than it had to do with the quality and operation / functionality of the product
    • I found a refurbished Cisco router for $21 shortly after buying this Medialink router (had 40+ positive reviews and 5 negs) and it works A TON better
    • This episode made me realize that there are allegations of fraudulent reviews as well as an allegation that some Medialink routers are actually manufactured by Tenda, who sells the same hardware for even cheaper prices
    • I needed a new router and saw this one was the top seller at Amazon with great reviews.
    • Got this because of all the good reviews and was not disappointed
    • N router is a decent router that seems to live up to the numerous good reviews it is getting
    • Therefore this company gets a 1 star review, since you cant trust the reviews because we don't know how many negatives were removed due to this strong arm tactic.
    • I would imagine the new ones already have the new update installed and its why you are seeing so many poor reviews now
    • I bought it after reading positive reviews about it
    • I like to check reviews, Good reviews mean good product
    • This product limitations seems to go in tone with the abilities of the execs of Mediabridge or of those of the Amazon execs that shamefully have allowed this company to continue selling here after their despicable actions against another Amazon customer for his bad review
    • As everyone else reading reviews of this product states, the overwhelming great reviews for it may scare people away
    • So maybe the reason that this product has so many good reviews is because generally people try to connect 1 or 2 devices, or they review it within their first week, but I am not sure
    • Pity I didn't belived this reviews enough before buying
    • Then I read a story about the company bullying a customer to remove a negative review
    • I paid a little more for this router than some other ones out there because the reviews were so good
    • As we've learned, that means nothing for a positive review
    • (Medialink). They sent me a "welcome" e-mail the day I got the product delivered, and actually offered to help!
    • This was by far the easiest and fastest set-up I have ever seen
    • (Medialink). They sent me a "welcome" e-mail the day I got the product delivered, and actually offered to help!
