Doesn't have instructions for how to tune/tighten the snare side for the beginner but there are plenty of Youtube videos to get started over all going to be a great church instrument.

If you'll pardon the pun, this instrument's Achilles' Heel is the strap; the part that makes the music is rugged ABS plastic, you could possibly drive a truck over it, without damage, but it wouldn't take Tommy Lee fifteen minutes to destroy the strap

I suppose this instrument is suitable for many musical situations that would otherwise require a traditional tambo, but not all of them; this is down to size, construction and to some extent, technique and tone

We have much to learn on it, and you tube is replete with many free lessons, but with the specially constructed "brush" drum sticks, it is a great home instrument for percussion.
