Despite all of that, you can make them sound alot like regular bongos too, so not a bad drum for beginners although it takes some time to find all of the numerous sweet spots

Does require a bit of playing around with it to find the sweet spot for the different sounds this can produce, especially the lower tone.

However, after playing it for a while I have finally found the sweet spots, and started developing a better technique, and as a result I have begun enjoying this instrument immensely

I say fairly easy because on the small side (drum) you have to hunt a bit for the sweet spot (the place that sounds the best) on the drum.

Haven't quite figured out the sweet spots yet.
