    • I took off another star because the cymbals are super flimsy and will eventually need to be replaced soon
    • The cymbal and hi-hat stands are quality made and should support larger replacements with ease.
    • Occasionally the peddles for the base loosen up and the high hat looses the screw from the top cymbal but
    • Why would a crash cymbal break after such short
    • The cymbals are appropriate for this set so don't expect anything close to Zildjian's sound
    • But, decent cymbals can cost as much as this entire kit does alone,
    • Quality product for the price, but the cymbal comes loose every time it's used and is too difficult for my child to adjust himself.
    • Why would a crash cymbal break after such short
    • But cymbals are EXPENSIVE and the drums actually sound pretty decent once assembled and tuned
    • The cymbals are cheap and will likely break after only a little abuse
    • The cymbals are more toy-like and sound like rubbish.
    • Also the cymbals are really inferior even for a beginner set.
    • My only complaint is that the top-cymbal retaining nut was really (I mean really) badly mis-threaded and caused the top hat cymbal to rest at about a 15 degree angle
    • Snare drum and cymbals on the low end of scale
    • I can barely tighten the wingnut before it's choking off the cymbal's sound
    • So these are maybe $10 cymbals, good enough for a padawan learner - better than I learned with 40 years ago.
    • Good drums, ok drum heads, terrible cymbals.
    • Cymbal split, snare and other heads broke
