the bow was in good condition, no loose hairs, as stated in other reviews

My only complaint is the bow, when tightened several hairs stay loose and there is a knot in one, making a scratchy sound whenever it hits the strings

Unfortunately, upon removing the bow, I found several hairs had either already fallen out and were lying in the case or were already broken and hanging off

A few hairs have fallen off as well.

The bow lost several hairs immediately

and I'm afraid to use it because it feels like the hair will break

I took it out twice and the hair on the bow was breaking off and the string was broken

The D string broke as soon as the peg was turned the first time

so it's an act of balancing to get the lid to stay open and not constantly fall over as you try to unpack
