• Reviews around samus (2.09 of 5)

    Metroid Fusion

    • The controls are easy to get into and get used to so you won't have any problems controlling Samus
    • Samus has a new look, well at least most of the game.
    • Samus has been missing in action for over 8 years
    • while it had weapons to destroy Samus rather quickly, certain points will allow you to hide in a visible spot that the SA-X could easily dispose of Samus, but instead repeats the same motion
    • The Graphics are not in par with the SNES version, and Samus doesn't look as good as well
    • There Samus is attacked by aparasitic organism known as X. Her suit was destroyed by the X parasite and almost killed her
    • The X parasite attacked Samus and infected her power suit, forcing the scientists to remove large portions of it, severely altering her appearance
    • The gameplay never gets repetitive, or as soon as it does, Samus gains a new ability.
    • Theres also a Samus clone that you constantly either sneak quietly and stealitly past, or make an epic and dramatic run from that always seems to end in a close call
    • Metroid Fusion brought super space heroine Samus Aran back to life on the GBA hte only way you would expect to play her: blasing aliens, space pirates, and any other baddies in her way.
    • Samus looks good in
    • Samus is also threatened by a creature called the SA-X - an exact copy of her formed from the pieces of the suit sent to the B.S.L. station
    • The story is as follows, you, Samus Aran, are sent to help scientists of the Biologic Space Labs study life on the planet SR388 after Samus removed the top of the food chain by exterminating all Metroids on that planet during Metroid II.
    • When speaking with the A.I., Samus begins to wonder if the computer isn't just a lifeless being, only relaying objectives from the federation HQ, or if there's more beneath the surface
    • that is a bone crunching killing machine, with all of Samus skills and attacks
    • and she's given a vaccine of Metroid DNA, Metroids being the sole predator of the virus organism which is dubbed "X", so the vaccine kills the virus and as a side effect it allows samus to absorb the virus
    • My only real gripe aside from the somewhat short length the new Samus's new powersuit
    • Through most of the game you have to run from this fake Samus as it kills you in only a few hits and this adds for some tense and frightening moments
    • Another thing I love about Metroid Fusion is that there's a dark Samus wandering around, and whenever you encounter her you have to hide while watching her walk by.
    • Several other bosses and a hand-full of general enemies can kill Samus with three or so hits, and require all your missiles to kill.
    • In an attempt to remove the parasite through the use of an experimental vaccine, Samus unintentionally gains the ability to absorb or "fuse" with these parasites
    • But now, Samus got the horrible X Parasite into her suit which prevents her from exiting it
    • The game made up for its lack of challenging bosses with the inclusion of the SA-X, an X Parasite mimicking Samus Aran at full power, at the beginning of the game to stalk you as you start with only 10% strength and survival and progress to 90% at the end of the game
    • Samus is lucky though, because she is already infected, so every mutated monster that she reverts to its normal self (by shooting it), the parasite leaves the body, where Samus can catch the parasite for energy or a replenishment of missiles, but if she does not, the parasite can fly around to find another creature to mutate
    • The storyline is pretty good (Samus getting infected by the X-Parasite and must destroy it while dealing with the parasite's fusion to her) and the graphics are actually outstanding.
    • Samus encounters an X, and before se can destroy it it infects her.
    • The storyline is pretty good (Samus getting infected by the X-Parasite and must destroy it while dealing with the parasite's fusion to her) and the graphics are actually outstanding.
    • Samus is on a survey mission when she is attacked by a parasite called
    • The classic Samus gameplay, hidden secrets, and fact that the game is not TOTALLY linear, is why this game is still a fun game, and didn't turn into a total disaster
    • Plus, there are no real corny or fake-looking ways to beat them, once you defeat one, the fight will look very real and you'll beleave that it would be possible for a lone and small Samus to defeat such a large and overwhealming enemy
    • There's always parts of the Metroid series that kind of confused me as to why I like it
    • I am thoroughly confused as to how this game rates so highly
    • Samus is back and every bit as incredible as she was before
    • Coming right after Super Metroid and Metroid Other M, Fusion is the perfect culmination of both games, combining the exploration-based gameplay of Super Metroid with the brisk pacing and narrative focus of Metroid Other
