Metroid: Samus Returns - Nintendo 3DS

    • Apart from the mechanic that breaks the enjoyment of the game... the graphics are really good though the framerate seems odd
    • (no, an upgraded version of a metroid doesn't count).[End spoilers]But anyway, it's a fun game with great gameplay (always the case with Metroid), nice graphics (doesn't matter to me), and ok music (nothing special here except remakes and such)
    • Great graphics, 3D, exploration, level design, music and atmosphere
    • As nice as the game looks, I can't help but feel saddened that the dark, beautiful pixel graphics of Zero Mission and Fusion have been replaced by the bright
    • It takes the classic Metroid 2 and updates it with beautiful new graphics and updated music, compelling new game play mechanics, and improvements to the map and flow of gameplay
    • Love the graphics and music
    • The graphics are great- nicely detailed polygons, however the frame rate isn't what I would have
    • It's been over a decade since a 2d Metroid was released.-gorgeous graphics with increased depth via 3d.-many sound effects and similar music has been carried over from the prime games.-Samus controls relatively smoothly.-the game has a good challenge to it.-there are many traditional weapons but also several new powerups that add variety to the
    • The graphics are really good, though I think this game was intended to be played on a 3DS and not a 2DS or a 2DSXL (which I own.
    • As nice as the game looks, I can't help but feel saddened that the dark, beautiful pixel graphics of Zero Mission and Fusion have been replaced by the bright
    • I have been waiting for ever to play another metroid game this game is great in all aspects love the graphics and the heart racing battles it had me hooked the whole time I was playing it... love it, totally recommend it to any metroid fan
    • Samus Returns takes the old 2D Metroid formula and polishes it up with shiny 2.5D graphics (I was reminded of the Castlevania Rondo of Blood 2.5D remake on PSP), a few new mechanics, an enormous map, and a rockin' soundtrack
    • The music is great, the sound is great, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is great even if it's a little awkward controlling Samus at some times
    • It’s not as good but the graphics and innovation have made me love it
    • Love this game the graphics the gameplay the music it's all perfect
    • Beautiful graphics and added just enough new elements for returning players and virgin players
    • Super fun game with great graphics
    • If you can figure it out, they can be easy or tough as hell- beautiful graphics and 3D effects- amazing music including returning classicsThis is probably the second best 2D Metroid after Super Metroid.
    • Moody, challenging, and fun, with some of the best graphics I've seen yet on the 3DS
    • Amazing graphics and
    • This game is as close to perfect as I think could be made, especially with so many "cooks in the kitchen"
    • If you want an example, I spent about an hour in the first area dying repeatedly before I even faced the first Metroid because I really didn't want to use the move, so I watched a video about the game to find out what I why I sucked at
