Absolutely Love the 2d Metroid series.
-
I really don't know why Nintendo seems to hate the Metroid series so much that we get games in the series so rarely, but I really would like to get more Metroid games more frequently.
-
An honorable remake and a must-have for any Metroid fan; please support this series.
-
However, before spending $40, newcomers not particularly fond of search and destroy games should try out one of the more traditional Metroid games on the virtual console first to fully appreciate the series.
-
I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes the Metroid series and probably even for first time players.
-
Love the Metroid series as a whole.
-
Really no reason to not own this if you like the series at all.
-
Metroid is such a fun and enjoyable series
-
It felt like a love letter to the classic Metroid series while at the same time taking it to new heights
-
I love the Metroid series, and am disappointed.
-
The series (2d) has always been the best in control
-
After Metroid: Other M it seemed like the series would be in disarray after some of the most mixed reception a game in the series ever received
-
Love the Metroid series
-
I hope that Nintendo continues to support this series with both new games, and mixes it up with more remasters of classic entries.
-
It resembles Metroid, and it's not terrible, but given how strong the series has been it's easily the weakest link in the series
-
Metroid is the best series ever IMO
-
A fantastic update of a classic entry in one of my favorite series of all time, Metroid: Samus Returns is exactly what I was hoping for
-
If you want an example, I spent about an hour in the first area dying repeatedly before I even faced the first Metroid because I really didn't want to use the move, so I watched a video about the game to find out what I why I sucked at
