Smear some plaster inside the box to make it a bit more airtight and to make the inside of the box a bit irregular - the more uneven the better - and insulate as you would for an outside wall, but keep the insulation from touching any part of the speaker mount.

The "problem" that we had with the bass thumping a bit upstairs is essentially a good "problem" to have as these speakers really do produce a crisp low end bass.

I had a little bit of trouble getting the protective grate off of it

The grille can be a bit difficult to get off in order to access the clamp screws, but that's about it.

The only thing I would change is the grills, they are a bit tricky to reinstall after they were removed.

If you're planning the wall construction in advance, try to give them about at 18" x 31" (or a bit more) space to work in, and use 2x6" studs for the wall if you can (2x4 will work)

just a bit more crisp, clear highs and the soundstage and stereo imaging was a bit more defined, but considering the price of these, they produce amazing sound.

When I came across these speakers I was a bit skeptical

I'm actually quite sure that putting them in a nice MDF enclosure would improve the sound output quite a bit and reduce the muddiness that some have complained about.

They are a bit "soft" so if you put any pressure on them they will bend a bit.

but once I close up the back side some more, they very well seem like they might not disappoint for what would be exspected out of dual 5.25" speakers, as they do vibrate the wall a lil bit

I would give the lower frequency response (20hz-70hz) a B+, but the mids and highs are absolutely an A, being crisp without the abrasive tin-sounding highs in some other speakers in this price range
