Tonally, I think they are pretty bright in the mid-upper range, with fair if somewhat muddy response down low

In an insulated wall cavity they project very well, with a full range including some very decent bass response

They have great bass response and clear highs.

M-8S (8 inch) has good frequency response

They even have remarkable bass response

At first they lacked the bass response I was hoping for but after closing in the framing the came much more alive

As stated in previous reviews... these need to be augmented with a sub if you wish to have any decent base response...

These speakers fill my man-cave with deep clarity although the 8" version perceptually had a more pleasant (flatter) frequency response than the 6.5" version when I adjusted my amp using its white-noise generator plus a hand held audio meter to measure decibels.

It is not fair to compare these to my floor standing speakes, but I did compare and of course they didn't produce the smooth mid-base response that my floor standing speakers do, but also I would have liked these speakers even more if they

I will be pairing these up with a Velodyne sub to enhance the ultra low response, but if you were just using these to to fill a room with great sound, you would not be disappointed

Awesome bass response, great highs, slightly

I plugged em' in to a 100w RMS amplifier and started them off slowly with some lower frequency break-in, they have very good frequency response and responded all the way down to 5Hz actually.that being said, audibly, these have a very modest low range

With the overwhelming positive customer response, I honestly thought that all of the reviews were bogus and/or written by Micca friends and family.
