Bought these based on price and great reviews they received

Most other reviews say “great for the money.”

I had my worries about all these great reviews

I read only a few bad reviews on these before purchase, but those were people who appeared to be buying them for much louder purposes.

I figured, what the heck, they got good reviews and if they sound like crap, I'll just return them and say shame on me

I was attracted to these speakers due to the positive reviews and very low price point.

Like almost everyone else, I took a leap of faith after reading the positive customer reviews and I'm extremely satisfied.

I purchased these Micca in wall speakers after reading several Amazon positive reviews.

(Some other reviews seemed to confuse this with the Micca L/R stereo speakers.

I was first going to buy some other wall speakers that got good reviews from customers, but I realized that the midrange speakers on those were only 5.25" on one and 6.5" on the other and figured that for $40 a speaker on these 8" Miccas I would get richer sounds for the price.

Newbies, not knowing of the lower price that obtained the favorable reviews then "think" the item is worth the drastically increased price

I generally trust overwhelming reviews on Amazon, but I remained skeptical about these speakers (mostly due to the low price).

Are they going to get great reviews by so called audiophiles?

They will sale an item at a bargain price, until the item obtains favorable reviews, then they drastically increase the price, as they have done for this item.

I ordered these speakers because of the glowing reviews and prices i am lucky enough to live in a single story home where its very easy to move in the attic

Like any ceiling speakers though, back boxes can make or break good sound, so not sure if they didn't check that before writing a bad review.
