Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe DVD - PC

    • Last year I had a terrible time loading FSX into my computer but was finally successful after several days
    • We haven't had any issues with slow loading or stop-frames like some reviewers have
    • After three attempts to down load this progran, each time a failure, I contacted Microsoft to help.
    • Oh, and to cut down on the abysmal flight load speeds, maybe upgrade to SCSI hard drive(s).Of course for that kind of money I could go to ground school at the local
    • The biggest disapointmet was the virtual cockpit which is really mushy and poorly setup, flying in 2d cockpit mode is virtually the same in fs04 but with out the terrible load delays.
    • I shocked at how slow everything loaded
    • I have MS FS 2004 and X-plane 8 and let me tell you I deleted MS FS 2004 as fast as I could
    • I've run FS9 on several machines with a variety of graphics cards and processor speeds, and although it runs faster or slower as you might expect, it's still fundamentally the same experience
    • So to wrap up - I highly recommend this simulator to any Aerolover as myself
    • I haven't done much with the multiplayer, so I won't argue from ignorance, but you have to have a GameSpy ID (easy enough to get, and free), and you have to basically have a broadband connection - anything slower will lag to the point of being unplayable.-The game is practically unplayable without a joystick of some kind.
    • 5 stars there if you have a supercomputer, but their aircraft in FS-X suffer from this common problem, no forward visiblilty with a 2-D usable panel.
