This game is a phenomenal simulator

I had to customize the graphics detail to reduce quality on the items not important to me, and seeing what the game can do with the right hardware does encourage one to get a faster machine, but the simulator is very enjoyable on my "older" hardware

I have to say that this is the best Flight Simulator that Microsoft has ever released.

Bottom line:returned & ordered Flight Simulator 2004 which I rate at 5 stars, also a lot cheaper.

The simulator is slow and jerky

With the precision needed on an instrument flights, this simulator becomes difficult as it more or less floats to a turned direction but is not very easy to make minor heading corrections.

Some problems with Windows 10, but the product arrived on time, and is a good simulator

Was informed by the maker of my graphics card (ATI) that the new Simulator X is not compatible with their graphics cards and will not operate properly

All in all, this is a terrific simulator of flying many types of aircraft and for those of us who are always fascinated with airports and wondering what it would be like to be a commerical airline pilot

With this I mean, that microsoft, even though they successfully created a great simulator, should try and modify this Sim so computer's that cannot have those Great Specifications required can run properly

if you scour the web for "FSX tweaks" and spend the time to carefully adjust the sliders and plow through the fsx.cfg file, you will end up with the greatest flight simulator there is!

As an avid simulator pilot, I someday hope I can be a real pilot, and everything in this game is real, and it is very educational.

If you want a realistic flight simulator, buy FS2004 for 1/5th the price.

It once was the best Flight Simulator for PC on the market

Has "Flying Lessons" with, granted, a guy who has the corniest sense of humor I've ever heard...but humor aside...still really cool and as far as I (a non pilot) can tell, seems like the tests are fairly realistic with the exception that you "can" bypass startup, mixture, rudders, etc.

I have MS FS 2004 and X-plane 8 and let me tell you I deleted MS FS 2004 as fast as I could

I've run FS9 on several machines with a variety of graphics cards and processor speeds, and although it runs faster or slower as you might expect, it's still fundamentally the same experience

So to wrap up - I highly recommend this simulator to any Aerolover as myself

There a learning curve but it isn¡¦t that steep -- at first.
