Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 for Business - Wired

    • Keyboard has helped in reducing the pain in my right hand and forearm
    • Since the 'b' key is one I usually hit with my right hand, the inclusion of it on the left side of the keyboard is something I'm still trying to get used to.
    • It is definitely louder than my usual keyboard, and it helped me realize I hit the 'b' and 'y' with the wrong hands on most other keyboards haha.
    • One particular issue I have found (that I didn't realize until after I starting using this keyboard) is that I usually hit the B key with my right hand
    • I used to punch 6 on the right hand, now I'm training the left.
    • Perhaps for someone that has strong hands and not a light touch it would be no big deal.
    • Extremely comfortable, with the upslant in the middle; my hands are in a totally natural position the whole time
    • The keyboard is well designed for ergonomy and it keeps your hands healthy
    • If you do a lot of coding, you should have this to protect your hands and wrist
    • My hands don't get fatigued
    • Love this key board, my hands get cramped on a traditional keyboard.
    • I am not the best touch typist, but with its design it forces me to use the proper hand on each half of the keyboard
    • This "no man's land" means you need to unlearn using the wrong hand for the wrong keys because you will either miskey or just hit nothing when you go to use your right hand to it the G key (or a similar situation).
    • Made all of my hand pain and carpal tunnel issues go away
    • Didnt like how keys were formatted and split between left and right hand
    • I can see someone getting used to it and using their left hand on the keyboard as much as they use their right hand on their mouse
    • My hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders are happier
    • My hands don't work with this setup.
    • I've been developing symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome for the past few weeks, particularly in the thumb of my right hand (the mouse-clicking hand).
    • my hand do not hurt like they did on a plain key.
    • Best ergonomic keyboard available hands down.
    • I absolutely LOVE the gap in the middle when I first saw the keyboard I thought it was a stupid design, but if you're anything like me and you type fast as well, you know the struggle of typing and accidentally reaching over with the wrong hand to type out a letter
    • My WPM in the first day with this keyboard is considerably slow, especially because I've never noticed hoe much I seem to prefer hitting B with my right hand
    • I simply steady my hands lightly on the big padded areas that are part of the keyboard itself, and off I go
    • Excellent for having the correct hand/wrist position
    • I feel like my hands are crowded when I use a regular keyboard now
    • This "no man's land" means you need to unlearn using the wrong hand for the wrong keys because you will either miskey or just hit nothing when you go to use your right hand to it the G key (or a similar situation).
    • Love this key board, my hands get cramped on a traditional keyboard.
    • What a hands and fingers anti-fatigue keyboard
    • The right hand side stopped typing letters after a short time use
    • I still have a twinge in my right wrist (I don't keyboard properly and the right hand is responsible for putting in all the spaces, so that may be why
    • It is bigger than I expected (barely fits my desk), but it is absolutely great in terms of supporting my hands the way I type
    • It puts your hands in a natural position and supports your wrists.
    • I can Make them spread out and not cramp my hands.
    • My previous keyboard was a Logitech Wave ergonomic one, and this one is similar, but has a bit more of a gap/divide/space between the left and right-hand keys, and the curves in the keyboard are a little more extreme - so that'll take a little getting used to
    • It fits my big hands great and comfortable to use
    • For anyone learning to touch type this keyboard is awesome as it will at least force you to use the correct hand for each half of the keyboard.
    • I do wish it was split (one for left hand and one for right hand) but that's just a design flaw
    • There is a physical break in the left and right hand keys.
    • And they completely moved the number 6 which is hit with the first finger of the right hand
    • A few years ago I noticed my hands were chronically sore, so bought one of these - what a great change! This is my third
    • If you are short, thus likely have smaller hands like me, then this may not be the best for you
    • I realized after purchasing it that I hit the B key with my right hand, while this layout requires you to use your left
    • I've been using this for about a week and noticed significant improvement in my ability to type longer and not having sore hands and wrists at the end of the week
    • Some time to get used to the different key layout (for example, #7 must now be clicked with the left rather than right hand.
    • Keyboard takes some getting use to and the setup favors larger hands but I really like it over a traditional layout.
    • It is very wide, if I used a right handed mouse it would be a very long motion to grab the mouse.
    • Does not do the Mac shortcuts but is still worth using with a Mac if your hands have issues.
    • My hands, wrists and finger are comfortable as I type.
    • It prevents hand cramping and other pain I used to feel with a regular keyboard
    • The space bar is HARD to push, sticky, and this hurts my hands.
    • I try to type as quiet as
    • Everything, and I mean everything, still works as if it were brand new other than the rubbed off keys
    • The entire j,k,l,;,', panel went dead, as well as the 5,6,7,8,9,0,-,=, (backspace), section
    • I've used this with both a PC and Mac desktop as well as with HP laptop via a docking station
