Can't speak to whether the other ones would have worked, but this thing worked like a charm.

The nice thing about using Microsoft products with other Microsoft products (I made sure the retailer for this was Microsoft and I use it with my Win10 PC) is that they are completely plug-and-play (with internet connection to automatically download drivers)

A small fuse inside the receiver burns out and leaves the thing completely useless

The only bad thing about syncing your 360 controller wirelessly is not being able to turn the controller off with the Home button

i've done every suggestion on multiple troubleshooting threads, returned it and got a new wireless reciever in case the last one was broken, everything i can think of to try and connect my controller to this damned thing.

Three only thing I didn't like was that there was no packaging around the device which seemed weird.

But trying to play one with arrow keys is the hardest thing you can possibly do

The only thing I didn't like was that the cable attached to the device is pretty long, but I know it's that long to accommodate everyone, and I use it on my laptop, so all problems are self inflicted.

I love this thing, right when I heard that you can connect your Xbox remote to your PC, I always though it was going to be a big problem and you were going to need drivers and stuff

This is of course the worst thing that has happened in the history of time, as it does require getting up from the couch going over to your PC and takes up to 15 seconds.

This thing is built real well, and certainly looks official, although the official Microsoft one is white and has XBOX branding

I don't care what everyone says about it is or is not Microsoft official, this thing worked for me and that is honestly all I care about
