If you;re considering buying an inexpensive handheld CB radio - don;t buy this one

By the time I put a new antenna on it, I could have bought I much better handheld.

Useless as a handheld since it won't actually work with AA batteries

For the price, it's a great handheld

I like it it works well when I am out of my 4x4 and directing the guys, I can communicate just as good as in my jeepbut range is just ok (compared to my fixed unit...duh)
