    Midland 75-785 40-Channel CB Radio

    • I liked the price and the portability (don't have to run any wires or mount anything in my vehicle); however, as others have mentioned, the range from inside a vehicle is very limited (in my case, 100 yds or so line-of-sight).
    • While it works, the range on this radio is horrendous

    • I read reviews before purchasing, and a lot of them stated that range would be better with a magnetic antenna
    • Range is limited by the rubber duck antenna (as for any hand held) but that connects via a common or garden BNC connector so you can hook it to an external antenna for greater range
    • Great range even with the factory antenna
    • they look great but our two way GMRS radios get better range then the cbs
