    • Serious penalties could result from unlicensed use of GMRS channels, in violation of FCC rules, as stipulated in the Communications Acts Sections 501 and 502 (amended).Another good feature on these radios is you can lock in the channel so you don't have to be concerned about accidently changing it.
    • Reliable two-way radio with great features for outdoor sports event management, especially the Weather Channel, and auto-energy saver feature
    • The weather alerts are a great feature but not easy to set up
    • These walkie talkies are fine, but we bought them mainly for the additional hands free feature and after some help from previous owners who responded to our questions here as well as Midland themselves, the hands free feature can not be used reliably and repeatably

    • But one great feature of this particular design vs other Midlands is the ability to charge your own Energizer rechargeables inside the radio with the desktop charger
    • These hand radios are very sturdy, full-featured with strong signals and come complete with a charging stand, so you don't need batteries.
