I would like to use this on a cruise ship, so I tested it in a big city skyscraper on the top floor and the reception on the ground floor was perfect I tried this Midland under a parking structure with concrete all around, and now it was poor ..... very garbled and sometime no reception....... as soon as I moved from under the structure, the reception returned
