Wish I had paid more and gotten a better system.
-
After some research, we chose the Mighty Mule Driveway Alarm because it seems to be favorably rated and is certainly the most reasonably-priced magnetic system available.
-
Last year I bought I far more expensive system from a similar competitor and it died a few months later.
-
I heartily recommend this system to anyone who needs to monitor comings & goings on you driveway!!!
-
Now looking for a more reliable driveway alert system.
-
We cannot see them until they are in our front yard, a situation that begged for a reliable alerting system.
-
We really like this alarm system
-
Now those f*$@ing gophers can’t get to our driveway alarm...as for our plants😢.Great, cheap, alarm system, just be
-
no animal interference (only one bear looking for grubs) the best non false alarm system I can recommend.
-
The burden of creating a solid alert system has been shifted from the manufacturer, who knew how and used to make it right, to the buyer
-
our two small yappy dogs learned really quick that the alarm meant someone was coming and they set up a deafening racket for the next 30 seconds or so (backup alarm system!).Very good system; happy we finally got it.
-
I purchased 2 Mighty Mule driveway alert systems, one for each end of a circular driveway.
-
If the system is working, the green light will be on when you check the receiver
-
The "Mighty Mule" system was well worth the insignificant increase in
-
I previously bought a cheaper system (motion Detecter) that went off by itself frequently due to animals, wind and anything that moved and as a result made it ineffective
-
It is less tans 200' from the transmitter to the receiver and unfortunately the system is 'hit or miss'
-
I purchased this last Dec hoping to have a reliable warning system for cars coming up the driveway.
-
For the best system I believe you need an optical type sensor with a light beam acoss the path of interest

She just took out the new receiver, replaced it with the old one sent the system back to the company as damaged
-
Now our system works great no false alarms from animals or children.
-
, we're out in the woods with a deer population that would render an IR system useless
-
Buy a GOOD camera system instead is my advice
-
Also, the system should last much longer while protected from the elements
-
The system works and it does detect moving cars, but if your driveway is more than 150 feet long, this is not a workable product
-
Great alarm system.
-
I had tried the PIR (passive infrared) systems and they were always going off when the sun hit them or a squirrel decided to play around them
-
Absolutely love this system
-
This can be a 100% reliable system if you stay within range
-
Good system.
-
If you're looking for a reliable driveway alarm system.............keep looking.
-
The system works OK, but the alert volume is very low, and cannot be heard outside the room.
-
The system works fine, its easy to install, simple instructions, but the audible sound is NOT a chim, its a high pitch tone!

The passive infrared (PIR) systems we used in the past were less than 100% effective at detecting vehicles (more like an iffy 60%)
-
This device works even in our rocky soil ( site of a Revolutionary War Iron Foundry) but if it hadn't, it would have been my siting, not the system's problem -- you cannot change the laws of physics
-
The system now works as designed
-
There have beeen Z_E_R_O errors with weather, darkness or animals
