I moved the transmitter to about 150' from my house and it works excellent

When I got the new one and I checked individual units and found the transmitter was the culprit.

I presume that the packet switching allows me 16 selections to block out other packet transmitting devices such as garage door openers but not cheap hobby transmitters

Yes this product works as it says it does , but it is not loud enough , I have heard a watch make a louder alarm , this is not an alarm it is useless .

We live in northwest Wisconsin with a long driveway and wanted something that alerted us to vehicles coming up the drive instead of being surprised by the doorbell, but did not think a motion sensor type would work as we also have a lot of deer in the area and figured we might hear the alarm throughout the night

(I don't want to destroy a hive), but the point was - it WORKED as I wanted it to.
