We want to know when someone is approaching our home, and this unit is perfect for that
-
Great unit, no more surprise visitors.
-
I have had problems with false alarms, mostly the unit just keeps alarming nonstop.
-
The unit was easy to install and worked as it was meant to work.
-
After dozens of different placement attempts, this unit only consistently works within about 50 feet
-
If you want to go beyond the 12' length buy a standard USB extension cord (one end male other female) to your desired length and you can place the above ground sending unit further from the sensor
-
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who needs to know when someone is coming down your driveway.
-
Second unit, wouldn't work
-
Unit failed 1 month after the warranty expired
-
The unit then seemed to die slowly for it will not work at all at any range
-
Over two years, and this unit still works beautifully and reliably.
-
If I'd downloaded it before I bought the unit, or even before I plugged it in, I wouldn't have blown the best part of a hundred bucks finding out the hard way that it's not suitable for Australia.
-
The unit worked fine for about 3 days but then ceased detecting
-
After a week, the unit works as described
-
Well built unit, works just like it says.
-
Now, the unit mostly works but sometimes fails to detect cars.
-
This unit is so much better than the cheaper smaller units that do not work properly..
-
I clearly got a bad unit.
-
I had previously installed a more expensive unit that did not perform as well as this unit.
-
The batteries had to be changed and or inserted several times before the unit started working and then it only worked speraticly.
-
The indoor unit's weak battery light was NOT on, but I went ahead and changed out the batteries, and retested, it worked again.
-
As soon as I was finished, the unit stopped working and recalibration did not correct the problem
-
The unit worked 90% of the time for abut 6 months and then died
-
Overall a very good unit.
-
Without burying the sensor bar, this unit works fantastic.
-
Unit only worked perfectly for only about a week

When I completed the task, the unit worked GREAT!
-
I wrapped the sensor bar in a Ziploc bag and tape as well as the sending unit to keep them dry
-
The Unit works okay, but the warning speaker cannot be heard at a short distance away especially if there are other things working
-
I had previously installed a more expensive unit that did not perform as well as this unit.

This unit is so much better than the cheaper smaller units that do not work properly..
-
and if we can assume the evaluation will prove the obvious fact that the unit is defective, I will be sent a replacement.
-
Now, the unit mostly works but sometimes fails to detect cars.
-
This seems like a good solid well built unit and works exactly as we want.
-
UPDATE 8/24/2017After 6 days my unit quit working altogether
-
The new one has much more volumn and it is a real nice working unit.
-
This unit works great except I wish there was a way to increase the volume as it is not loud enough to hear on both floors of our house.
-
Had a cheap Harbor Freight unit which was being set off by animals as well as cars.
-
One month after the warranty expired, the unit failed
-
I don't know how well the unit may have worked otherwise
-
I have a MUCH more expensive unit that worked better, only because it had a better audible announcement, but it just didn't last.
-
The mighty mule is a very good unit easy to install and to use
-
I think unit is loud enough to hear in all areas of my 2300 sq ft ranch
-
This is a great unit for the price.
-
The unit continued to alarm
-
I will post back if unit doesn't perform well in the winter
-
The new unit is intermittently failing to acknowledge passing cars, and was giving false alarms occasionally, failing to alarm for about 25% of the cars coming up the driveway (and alarming on them the next time!)
-
They called me back and said that the unit was dirty and damaged and that they would not replace it
-
I am going to try a more expensive unit also sold by Amazon.
-
Unit works fine and also picks up my golf cart
-
Most units are fairly good on this score
-
My 30-day return period was up on 8/25/2017 (next day), so I quickly dug up the outside unit, cleaned it up, packaged it, and returned it via UPS.
-
The unit is still working exactly as advertised and battery life is very good.
-
After spending money to ship it to them, along with a letter stating that the unit should work for more than a year, I was rebuffed and they are sending the "dirty" unit back to me
-
Over the past couple of months there are more days when the unit has not worked then when the unit has worked, so I have gotten to the point where I leave it unplugged because it is not reliable at all.
-
The unit is not dependable for alarming.
-
This unit works well no faults alarms unless the weather is damp witch may cause them to go into an endless loop.
-
Five stars on a Great unit
-
I replaced it with a much more expensive Dakota unit and have been very pleased
-
After I switched to alkaline, unit works perfectly.
-
My parents bought the cheaper unit that detects motion and that is one one I was planning on buying however, when my kids ride their bikes up and down my
-
I would highly recommend this unit.
-
I think my old unit was giving false alarms due to high winds pushing the utility pole around
-
Sadly, the unit is now randomly giving false positives and no alarm when vehicles pass by sensor.
-
Moved transmitted to a new place now the unit will not work, will return and buy more expensive unit.
-
Second unit, they work til your neighbor mows over it
-
What a great little unit
-
This unit has solved those false alarms entirely
-
I have been doing electronics repair for over 40 years and don't think the problem is likely to be anything but defective units
-
The unit then worked great, had a respectable range (at least 200 feet) and seems reliable, with very few false alarms.
-
These have proven to be reliable units.
-
Once you get the sensativity set correctly the unit is dependable
-
i like this product very well so far, lets me know when i have a visitor coming up the driveway.
