The tilt is a loose, free tilt (i.e. if you take your feet off it will go back to horizontal), and if you pick it up, you will lose the height setting too (think of the tilt-setting for the back of a pool-side lounge chair - it's similar to that).

It adjusts to the correct height, and compensates for the angle of my feet.

There's just something very 'office-issued' about it - but if that's where you plan to use it, it's certainly sturdy and has a fair adjustable height range
