Adjustable height and the top isn't in a fixed position so you can still flex forward or back to move your feet around, which I appreciate!
The tilt is a loose, free tilt (i.e. if you take your feet off it will go back to horizontal), and if you pick it up, you will lose the height setting too (think of the tilt-setting for the back of a pool-side lounge chair - it's similar to that).

I’m a bit OCD with comparing the multitude of items across amazon, to find the best quality versus price point, so I write this notice to hopefully help others from wasting time and doing the same
The main difference between this one and others I have tried is that this is made of hard plastic that is very sturdy and good quality whereas most of the others are made of metal

There are two different models shown in the images here, one of them indicates an adjustable tilt which is not on the unit I received.

Perfect foot rest - use it every day - makes sitting at the computer comfortable.
Purchased for my grandaughter to use during therapy to achieve the proper sitting position, unfortunately would not allow her to place feet in proper position.
My knees don't get sore anymore sitting at the computer
so this is great for me while sitting in a regular desk chair or while on my exercise ball!

Fast forward to today, five months later, both of the sides where the height adjustment locks in have now broken (cheap plastic).
The last one broke today and when it broke (with my feet on it) it slammed down and broke the foot adjustment piece off the front (also cheap plastic).
It's thick, heavy duty plastic, very sturdy, and exactly as described
while its function is great, its cheap plastic and broke after about one month of use
