Finally, during the next morning something got through somehow with the temporary phone number that the first Sim card activates, and was eventually able to port my existing phone number over using the second sim card, but still had much aggravation with various error codes that were unsubstantiated (ie: invalid account number).

Once I decided to switch to Mint, I gave them the needed information to port my phone number from Tracfone to Mint: my account number (it was my phone's 15-digit IMEI #), my PIN (which I got through my online Tracfone account), and my billing ZIP code

I asked for my account number and PIN and will be switching back to a reputable carrier

All I needed for the port in was my Account number and PIN

Just need to provide my previous cell plan's account number and password (of course, also the cell phone number to be ported) directly through the mint apps

Follow APP steps to port phone number and input necessary information, phone number, account number, PIN

I liked it and it worked as they said it would.

I prepaid 300 for the full-year plan after trying out the test SIM card, and the coverage is just as good as T-Mobile (same network, I believe).

If you are able to do some light research/googling, don't mind rolling up your sleeves a little bit during the trial and activation process, are in a good T-Mobile coverage area and the trial SIM works well for you, this might be a good bet
