Unfortunately, the data on Cricket was extremely slow, and there were multiple instances where there were nationwide data outages due to the way Cricket routes their data (all data over Cricket is sent through proxies located throughout the Central United States)

I had Verizon before and found that network gave my better LTE data in some fringe areas

I wanted mobile data to use in my vehicle so that worked out fine for me.

However, at the end of the day, I wound up just going with Verizon as it was close to the same price (& unlimited data) to add the line versus going with Mint (T-mobile)

I have Metro PCS in San Francisco and Mint had much slower data

He can talk text and he is able to use enough data when is necessary
