The only issue I've had with it is the notorious band thing that many others report

Love the tracker but hate the band.

I was just tossing a small football on the beach when I jumped up for the ball and the band came loose

It often popped out if the band was snagged

There is a faulty band and an improved band, but one does not know which band they are getting

I got a pretty band to wear with it instead of the plastic black one, and it looks very stylish

With the more secure band, it hasn’t popped out once since I got it.

I'm not sure if the company improved their band or what

I love this band.

However, misfit customer service have been outstanding and have now sent a new vastly improved wrist band - hence the 5 stars.

The band is comfortable

I desperately wanted for the Shine 2 to have a band that didn't clasp, but rather had a watch band, something a bit more sturdy or reliable

and I'm now the proud owner of a Shine 2 2016 with a fantastic improved rubber band that doesn't require action clip

I actually caught the band before it fell and when I started to fasten it back

Everyone seems to worry about the band, but if you're careful, that's not an issue (I have the "bad" band).

The new band is more secure

One of the things I loved about the original shine was how sleek it looked and how delicate the band was

Misfit has redesigned the band and they are sending me one.

They have recently updated their bands so the misfit doesn't fall out anymore like their old version

I find the band to be much more secure than the clip though in either case this is much better looking than any other fitness tracker I have seen.

I ordered a different band (as show in photo) to enclose the tracker because the band is terrible and you WILL love the tracker using their provided band

My two complains are the horrible band design

One would assume that since it is the 2nd generation product, it would come with the improved band

This secure band does not allow the Misfit to come loose and fits very well on my wrist

It doesn't readily display time or progress.2) Repeatedly falls out of the "improved band"

The band on this is also more flattering and more comfortable than the Flash

what if I had been out?I haven't replaced the battery yet, but it looks like it could be a complicated thing, and this band holding the device might weaken it's holding power with a lot of removing.

A much better band design than the initial Shine 2 launch in fall of 2015

I had read that the older bands were a problem, butwas under the impression that the problem had been fixed.

But seriously, this thing is too expensive to have such a weak band.

The device pops out, the band isn't great and the sleep tracking is inconsistent

They replaced my misfit and this band seems way more secure

I really wanted to like these guys, but the band is absolutely worthless

The Misfit Shine 2 is a nice looking band

I also order the beautiful rose gold matching stainless steel band which has a clasp like a regular wrist watch . . .

Also, I thought I could get a cooler band to go with this, but Misfit currently isn't selling any

" so I could modify our other Misfit Shine as to not lose it also

I do love the look of it as it's so sleek and low profile.
