So, after a few days, Misfit contacted me via email and apologized for my loss, and they said my Misfit was still under warranty, and after proof of purchase and loss, they sent me a new Shine 2, and this one looks and works amazing

The Misfit app is great -simple, good-looking, and I was easily able to find my friends who also have the Shine 2, and compare scores with them.

I particularly love the look of the Shine as well, and get compliments on it daily, and it's slim, so dress shirt cuffs slide right over it
