I love the simple design, how it looks, and how easily it syncs to my phone
-
progress.**UPDATE** I contacted MisFit about the poor design of their bands, and told them what a shame it was since the device really is such a cool design, and they are sending me a new device as well as a new LEATHER wristband, which apparently holds the device more securely.
-
As per other reviews I feel the device is let down by the poor design/quality of the strap which I very rapidly learned not to trust as it doesn't secure the Shine safely
-
Beautiful, sleek, stylish design - extremely comfortable on the wrist
-
I had told her previously that I wanted to get the Shine due to its affordability, sleek design and its features
-
I like the design of this so much better than the FitBit, but I now regret my decision, because I know the FitBit has a much better track record of dependability
-
It has a sleek design with a fun and novel watch display.
-
Such a lame and flimsy design
-
Super easy to use, unobtrusive (I clip it to my bra if I don't want it to show), elegant design, no charging required, and super strong (yes, I've put it through the washer AND dryer, and it still works perfectly).
-
I miss it but have no intention of repurchasing such a poor design.
-
Poor design of an otherwise beautifully designed product
-
like sleek design and how the misfit shine monitor my daily activities
-
It has a beautiful design and it's really light
-
it is a much more elegant designs and appearance.2) for me the color choices and the necklace to wear it on is more my style
-
The design is beautiful and no one even knows it's a fitness monitor it looks like a piece of jewelry!
-
I loved my misfit shine - until I lost it for a third time because of the poorly-designed wristband
-
Need a better designed holder
-
people lost it because of the poor design of the wrist band.
-
Syncs by itself with the nicely designed app, if you have blue tooth turned on.
-
The design is beautiful
-
The design is great, very slim.
-
I like it while I had it, but it is a substandard design.
-
Bad design flaw!
-
Poor design.
-
It is a beautiful design, the strap version was comfortable, I loved the size and the fact that I would clip on my clothes, but it doesn't work consistently
-
I purchased this item from their website about a year ago because I liked the design
-
It's great design, and it looks good on the wrist.
-
While I love the design, it has alot of issues
-
Very disappointed...I almost went with a fitbit for the second one, but I love the Misfit design so much.
-
The simple design is clean and beautiful
-
I really liked the design and how portable it was, and after seeing they had it in
-
I completely understand that the band it comes with isn't a great design, and that if you're constantly putting the Shine in and out of it, it's going to stretch or break, and you'll lose your Shine.
-
DO NOT waste your money on this poor design, instead buy a product that is all one piece
-
Like I said, if you run, walk, cycle, or swim - the device is gorgeous and comfortable, and the app is well designed and motivating
-
Until there is an improved design, I won't be buying another one.
-
Recent updates have improved the Android app, but the Windows app is very poorly designed
-
love the design a lot
-
Design is sleek and compliments any fashion style
-
I love the minimalistic design and wearability of it
-
It is the only sleek design out there in a fitness watch, leaving me with no choice but to buy this one because I didn't want something extremely chunky around my wrist
-
That seems like bad design
-
But, it is waterproof, has a very nice minimalist design, and can be worn as either a wrist strap or a clip on
-
Very disappointed...I almost went with a fitbit for the second one, but I love the Misfit design so much.
-
but I strong believe the flexibility in its design cause serious fault in the integrity of the gadget in the rubber enclosure
-
unfortunately the design of the holder isn't great
-
Seems like poor design planning.
-
The wrist strap is either defective or of poor design
-
I like the design, for sure
-
However I'm not going to get compliments on the hole in the band where my beautiful, elegant, waterproof tracker USED TO be, and I resent the need to frequently replace something that is supposed to be so well designed
-
I really liked the design and the fact that is has watch built in
-
The Shine is small, attractive, has a great design, and is pretty accurate
-
The design and weight is nice but the tracking is terribly inaccurate
-
I think the design of it is great
-
Great device extremely well designed and created by someone who considers design on a more human aspects of usage
-
For whatever the reason, I chose to ignore all the negative posts about lost misfits as a result of a defective design (unit easily dislodges from wrist strap)
-
It’s not bulky, so it doesn’t easily bump things; the sleek design prevents it from being caught on things as well
-
The Fitbit straps seem to be better designed and it is also has the option of a number of third party bands and jewelry pieces.
-
Crazy bad design to get into the unit
-
Poor design.
-
This week the Shine registered some of my activity as vigorous and I am receiving 6 activity points from WW.I love the design, it looks like a watch, lightweight and good quality product
-
But it almost seems like it was designed to be faulty, and to force customers buy another one
-
Poor design of an otherwise beautifully designed product
-
Poor design
-
The Misfit Shine is a very innovative, well-designed product that I highly recommend to any college student to help stay on top of the game.
-
Awesome design
-
, I loved it while it lasted, but lost it eventually due to horrible sport band design
-
I like the design of this so much better than the FitBit, but I now regret my decision, because I know the FitBit has a much better track record of dependability
-
I like the design of this so much better than the FitBit, but I now regret my decision, because I know the FitBit has a much better track record of dependability
-
Poor design in some ways
-
PROS:*attractive design*comfortable
-
My two main reasons were the sleek design and waterproof abilities
-
I gave the product 2 stars, to reflect the great design, and the concept
-
progress.**UPDATE** I contacted MisFit about the poor design of their bands, and told them what a shame it was since the device really is such a cool design, and they are sending me a new device as well as a new LEATHER wristband, which apparently holds the device more securely.
-
Misfit is quite cool to use when I''m wearing a suit( the clasp is useful) and design is no so bad
-
Nice design.
-
I wish my Shine had not disappeared - were I to have it again, I would rely on the magnetic clothing fastener or the clothing (socks) that they sell with specially designed Shine pockets rather than using the wristband
-
Design - sleek, sexy and very stylish
-
She has had no recurrence of this issue since receiving the improved design
-
I love the product and hate the design
-
Crappy design.
-
I really wanted to like this product based on the slick design and simplicity but had problems syncing right away
-
Product has a cool sleek design that is sparse but functional.
-
From the trendy design and easy to use features, this activity tracker would be ideal for any college student
-
Terrible and faulty design
-
The design of the "sport band" is unacceptable.
-
Absolutely horrible design.
-
I chose the Misfit Shine over other activity trackers because of the elegant and versatile design
-
I love the design!
-
Yes, the design of the band is a major flaw and it's ludicrous that the company hasn't developed some sort of solution, but, that aside, it's a great product at a reasonable price.
-
's sleek, feminine design.
-
The low profile and sleek design makes it very comfortable to wear
-
I am hoping that they can figure out a better design to ensure this doesn't happen to the next generation of Misfit Shines!
-
The Shine is a great idea and a nice design, but isn't reliable or durable, and the support is slow, unhelpful, and disappointing.
-
The shine is an amazingly designed piece of tech, it has been a replacement for a watch while still giving me easy acces to feedback and added motivation to help put me on the path to better fitness.
-
I feel like they had a really good design, a fine and inexpensive alternative to Fitbit and others, but just a little poorly constructed on several levels
-
Pros: no need to charge, easy synching, auto sleep tracking, water-proof, cool watch featureCons: poor band design, only gives you two days of tracking with your friends, doesn't recognize stair climbing, and I wish it had a way to track water drinking.
-
The good:--Price - excellent value for the price.--Beautiful design, high quality gadget that looks and feels like a piece of jewelry.--The wrist band is comfortable
-
They now have a wider variety of bands and ways to wear it, so have a lot of new choices other than the poor rubber band design.
-
Bad design flaw!
-
It's a silly design for a swim
-
Beautiful design, comfortable band.
-
Seems like they could design something very simple that would not compromise the sleek design
-
It looked like a Misfit Shine, but it did not use Misfit's software nor could it monitor the range of activities the Shine is designed to do
-
but I strong believe the flexibility in its design cause serious fault in the integrity of the gadget in the rubber enclosure
-
A texturized surface and better retention system would make this device more useful and vastly extend the service life by preventing premature loss such as I and so many other reviewers experienced
-
Fashionable - I upgraded to the metal mesh band and it looks just like a watch and goes pretty well with my
-
I will admit, I lost my first Shine at work when it fell out of the wrist band, however I really like the new band with the locking mechanism
