I found this but never really heard of the name but bought it since i researched it a bit and found out how good these books are

These books are perfect for such a project.

The pages are binded in groups, so if you were to rip them off itwon't entirely destroy the whole book

This is the only kind of Moleskin I buy these days because the paper is much thicker and I can use pen on the pages without having it bleed through the whole damn book.

Read the history and apparently the greats used similar or same books for their art

Otherwise, it's a good sturdy little book.

The stitching is spot-on, the elastic band works beautifully, and the book has a satisfying heft to it

The pages are just large enough to give you good room yet small enough so the book is portable.

The front page has a little printed section for you to put basic personal info in case you lose the book and whomever finds it is caring enough to contact you

It goes beyond that however, the solid vinyl cover, the book binding, and the thick, smooth pages work in unison to allow it to be opened without creaks nor creases

The first one I received was damaged and the replacement still had a scratch on the cover, but overall, the book is very nice.

I also have the smaller size and they are my favorite sketch books.

before i owned this, i was drawing in a bienfang and i thought that was a great book

forever!They're also extremely hardy little books

but the remainder of the book is smooth... and in THAT regard... the book is sweet and without warp

I wouldn't rate any of their other notebooks as highly because the paper on them is thinner and could probably be replaced by a decent $1 composition book, or other cheaper equivalent.
