Monoprice 100ft 12AWG Enhanced Loud Oxygen-Free Copper Speaker Wire Cable

    • it is: nice thick gauge wire for your HiFi.
    • 12-gauge is overkill for my 50 watt system, but I decided to splurge.
    • The gauge is correct and the individual strand-count is high
    • If you have a high wattage system, this heavier gauge is recommended
    • Heavy gauge wireLow resistance for speaker lengths up to 40'Can
    • The insulation is malleable and thick, and the wiring has consistent gauge with the oxygen-free stamp.
    • I had some old expensive 12 gauge stuff that I was sick of working with.14 gauge seemed perfect
    • The gauge is accurate, the strand count is very high.
    • True 16 gauge pure copper cable
    • I don't have a way to measure if the gauge is accurate, but the copper is thick and is a much larger than my 14AWG, so it works for me.
    • The wire is super high quality, negative clearly marked with a blue streak running down the side, true 16 gauge
    • I had some old expensive 12 gauge stuff that I was sick of working with.14 gauge seemed perfect
    • this wire is an accurate 12 gauge, does not come apart when stripping the wire, and sounds phenomenal
    • You should always do all the calculations power and length to get the right gauge.
    • A good low gauge wire will work just as well (remember there are many feet of probably not so special wire wound around inductors in your speakers, so the 10' from the AMP to speaker isn't going to change much).
    • It is a good gauge, easy to work with, and it separates easily when you need to connect it to the speakers.
    • I would suggest that those who happen to receive the wrong gauge should simply close the box, print up the label for free UPS return, and send it back
    • They are just the right gauge and easy to insert into speakers/amplifier
    • For my application the 14 Gauge was a great choice.12 gauge, being larger wire, may not have fit into the connectors and
    • I personally enjoy the sound quality and the reliability of copper stranded cables that are of modest gauge.
    • Oxygen free copper and gauge were lauded as the most important factors to be taken into account when purchasing speaker wire
    • I think 16 gauge is adequate for most home installations.
    • Great basic heavy gauge speaker cables.
    • I was leary at first to order, seeing that the exploded view of the picture of the product clearly is one of a 16 gauge roll as opposed to a 12 gauge roll, as well as the fact that others have posted saying they actually received the wrong gauge wire
    • It was easy to strip using the 14 gauge setting on my strippers, telling me the sizing was correct (16 gauge stranded is equivalent in diameter to 14 gauge solid for stripping purposes.)
    • The gauge is perfect for medium duty wiring projects like car stereo or home use.

    • I switched back to the old wires and indeed the thinner gauge Monster wire did sound better
    • I have been using a highly recommend 12g OFC wire on my three front speakers that I have been satisfied with its sound but gave the Monoprice a trial run
    • 16 G was perfect for my famliy roomstop looking good product at a great price.
    • Worked as it should.
    • thank u
